Wash regularly
- Always wash after muddy rides and otherwise regularly.
- Use a soaking detergent on the bike chain.
- Brush the chain and rinse with plenty of water.
- Also wash the brake surfaces and rims.
- The frame and parts that are not greasy can be washed with water mixed with washing-up liquid for washing, for example.

A bike needs oil and air
- Lubricate the chains immediately after washing and drying. Drip oil inside the chain while slowly turning the crank.
- Allow the oil to soak in for a while and then wipe excess oil from the surface of the chain.
- To ensure that the cables can move without friction spray oil also in their protective sheaths once month, for example.
- Check that the wheels are firmly secured and that they spin straight.
- Rinse the washed areas thoroughly.
- Pump the tyres according to the recommended pressure indicated on the side of the tyre.
- Check that the tyre is in good condition and that there is still a tread left and there are no cracks in the sidewall.
- Periodically check that the screws and nuts of the wheel have not come loose.
